Bread is often something I end up with too much of. Freezing it is always a simple way to avoid wasting it. This bread pudding recipe is another.

Egg casserole

I made egg casserole for this morning’s “chew and chat” (fellowship time). It’s a great recipe for making the night before, sticking in the fridge, and baking right before breakfast.
9×13 inch pan, greased, oven to 350.

4-5 slices of bread (I used store-bought whole wheat), arranged on bottom of pan
