[ADOPTED]
When our niece named her Rosie we immediately agreed: she's rusty-brown (rose-color?) and she is riveting! Plus she can do anything she puts her mind to. She's fierce and tall and strong and determined. Because she's already an athlete, she's the right pick for the family who will be her forever home who will run and play with her.

[ADOPTED] You know how the more you love someone, the most names you have for them? First he was #3. Since he's the most clingy/fraidy/whimpery, he became #3 Poor Me. (More on personality in a moment.) Our family was visiting when he pooped a nice large pile, so they called him "Sir Poops a Lot" which became "Sir Cries a Lot" since that's what consistently stands out about him. Then just "Sir Max a Lot" because we had a beloved dog Max who also made his needs known vocally. Somehow...because we love Parks and Rec and their ongoing fondness for the miniature horse Lil Sebastian - who has similar color and proportions to #3, we're now calling him Lil Sebastian. Maybe we should call him "Mini Mabel" since he looks nearly exactly like his mom. He's got her copper-brown color and even the white stripe up his nose. Now Mabel also has a diamond on her head - but #3 is still a stunner, with white toes like Mabel. Though he's a whiner, we think it's just that he's more human-oriented than his siblings, and will prefer a household with plenty of human attention. He's easy-going and playful with Mabel, siblings and us, and the most likely to look for laptime, then snuggle in for a nap.
Gracie was Parker's midwife, and named him after Peter Parker. He's been one of the biggest puppies throughout their (nearly) 8 weeks of life. He's on the mellow side of this litter's median. He's affectionate and calm but definitely playful. Check out his first walk.
Like most black dogs he shines brown in the light and gets hot in the sun. Then he curls up with the garden hose for a nap.
Parker loves to play with humans, Mabel and his siblings. He's laid-back and when he needs something, finds one of us and earnestly stares, whimpers once, and we can usually tell if he's hot, hungry or tired. (Like me, these puppies often need help falling asleep, like someone to cuddle with.) He can also multitask - cuddle and play at the same time:
She's firstborn, fierce, brave, smart, equally playful with Mama Mabel, siblings and humans. She will be a force to be reckoned with!
She's stunning and shimmers like a silverback gorilla. We highly recommend this gorgeous and bold puppy. We've been calling her First Lady and our nephew chose Sophia - a wise name for this smart puppy. Check out her first field trip and "walk." Given how playful she is, we think she will prefer a home with another dog or multiple humans who want to play, walk, take her to agility training, etc.
A thoughtful adopter arrived for Hannah2 with a carrier and new toy. He put both down in the yard to become familiar and get covered in home-scent. The puppies immediately were curious. First Lady Sophia took it a step further and got in the carrier in order to take the toy. She went through this twice. She is a force to be reckoned with!
